Wow. Looks like the stock options grant 'inquiry' that was upgraded to a 'formal investigation' has now been upgraded to a scandal (in fact, just do a google news search on Mercury Interactive). Kind of makes me glad that I don't work there anymore, although I still do miss my homies from the Boulder office.

November 3rd, 2005 at 05:52 AM Hahaha. I think we did this at Tendril starting from day one of being an official company. The COO handed out a bunch of documents to sign, and then there was a fairly lengthy discussion about what dates to put on the forms so that everyone could manipulate their taxes as much as humanly possible. Tax evasion seems like a fine art for the mega-rich. Those who are successful make far more than those who aren't, and if you are really successful you get the laws changed to make it even more so.
