Cool! I found a site that explains Tova's name. We're always getting asked about it, and I finally found an answer. Here is a link for Tova, which is apparently the Swedish form of Tove, which is derived from an Old Norse name (whose spelling I will not attempt to replicate here). So, the executive summary is that it is a combination of Thor and "frior" (I left out the weird characters) which means beautiful. Of course, you probably know that Thor means Thunder. So I guess Tova is the modern form of "Beautiful Thunder." Or something like that...
